About Valverna

Valverna ("we", "us", "our") is operated by Valverna AB, a company registered in Sweden. We provide a transaction data repository service that connects to payment platforms, normalizes transaction data, and exposes it via API and authorized third-party applications.

By creating an account or using our service, you ("you", "your") agree to these Terms of Service.

02

Accounts

You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for any activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

One account per person. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

03

Your data

You own your data. Transaction data collected from payment platforms you connect belongs to your business. We process it on your behalf as a data processor under GDPR (see our Privacy Policy).

We never sell your data. We never share it with third parties except those you explicitly authorize through our "Apps & Access" permission system.

You can export or delete your data at any time.

04

Third-party integrations

Our service connects to third-party platforms (Stripe, Shopify, SumUp, etc.) and allows third-party apps to access your data with your explicit consent. We are not responsible for the behavior, availability, or data handling of those third parties.

When you authorize an app via OAuth, you grant it access to the scopes shown on the consent screen. You can revoke access at any time from the Apps & Access page. Revocation is immediate.

05

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for illegal purposes or to violate anyone's rights
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or otherwise abuse the API
  • Submit fraudulent transactions or falsify transaction data
  • Attempt unauthorized access to other accounts or our infrastructure
  • Resell or redistribute our service without written permission
06

Pricing and payment

Access to your transaction repository is always free for businesses. Developers fund a prepaid balance by topping it up via Stripe, and that balance is drawn down at USD 0.001 per delivered transaction. When a developer's balance reaches zero, API reads are paused (HTTP 402) until the balance is topped up again. Prices are in USD and exclude VAT. We may update pricing with 30 days' notice.

07

Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with reasonable notice where possible. On termination, you retain the right to export your data for 30 days.

08

Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, bug-free operation, or the accuracy of data from third-party platforms. Valverna is a transaction data repository, not tax, accounting, or compliance software — you are responsible for verifying any data before relying on it for tax, accounting, or compliance purposes.

09

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Valverna's total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or 1000 SEK, whichever is greater.

10

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If changes are material, we'll notify you by email or in-app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

11

Governing law

These terms are governed by Swedish law. Disputes will be resolved in the district court of Stockholm, unless mandatory consumer protection law requires otherwise.
